Bike Commute Stories

I really enjoy riding my bike. I believe that it's not really that important what you wear just so long as you get out there and ride. If you're aiming for speed, the biking outfits are quite functional, as the wind will not hold you back as much if it isn't catching your clothing with every rotation of your wheels. If youre riding at a more relaxed pace then any attire will do.

I love riding. When Im on that bike, I dont think about anything else in my life. I just think about where Im going, what Im doing at that moment, everything around me, and sometimes I daydream.

I love to say hello to people in the mornings. Sometimes I find someone that is headed on the same route and I get to talk to them long enough to learn a little about them. It is interesting to me that someones attitude can completely change depending on how and when they are approached. Ive noticed that people tend to be in a better mood when they ride. I know that I am. There is something about being able to get that exercise that just gets everything flowing and feeling good. It is very rare that I will meet someone who is unhappy or angry while they ride unless something just happened to them to make them feel that way. In a car it is a different story. It seems to me that people tend to be more closed up when they drive.

Its nice to read the commute stories and hear all the positive experiences that people have most of the time. It makes me smile when I think about all those other happy go lucky riders out there.

Keep riding, keep writing, have some fun and let us know about it!

Until next time, enjoy!
